New photos show off an upcoming Microsoft smartphone tipped to succeed the mid-range Lumia 720, courtesy of a report by WPCentral.
The purported Lumia 730, codename Superman, sports a spiffing green paintjob and should arrive 'in the next few months'.
Apparently the 730 will try to snap up selfie smartphone market share with a focus on snap-happy customers.
The rumoured handset is alleged to rock a 5MP front-facing shooter and a respectable 4.7-in display.
We first heard chatter of a potential Microsoft Lumia handset just last month, with reports suggesting two such phones would be in the works.
Apparently Microsoft devices chief Stephen Elop showed off what he described as a 'selfie phone' during a meeting.
The other purported blower operates under the alias 'Tesla', which Elop was said to have described as an 'affordable high-end phone.'
"Tesla will likely debut as a Lumia 720 replacement," reads The Verge's report, "and it marks a new effort by Microsoft to push PureView down to even lower price points."
There's been no official word out of Redmond regarding the grapevine-borne devices, but we're expecting a reveal well before Christmas.
